Core
Removal of legacy notification components
To improve the security of Pure, we have removed previous generation code components that displayed notifications on older Pure overview screens. The components were only available on Pure versions 5.14.0 and earlier, and have been replaced with more secure React JavaScript components. This will not affect the display of any notifications apart from customers who may still be on 5.14.0 or earlier. Notifications affected have not been deleted and can be retrieved on request.
Pure Core: Web services
Pure API: Activities
The Pure API now supports the management of Activities.
Pure Award Management Module
Viewer of Applications and Awards
We have introduced two new user roles for applications and awards that make it possible to provide read-only access to the reader-view for applications and award records. The new roles are organisation based and are intended for persons such as Directors of Research or Heads of Department who are required to have access to more detailed information on the content types in their organisational remit, but that do not require editorial privileges. Once allocated, the roles allow for the users to see a reader-view for all applications or awards within their department, including confidential items. The reader view also allows for the user to access and view documents associated to the content items.
