How Can We Help?
Internal FundingInternal Funding
Funding opportunity content type must be enabled by Elsevier.
New Feature: Management of internal funding cometitions
Ability to add internal funding organisations in the funding opportunity content type, and separately via the application and award content types

In the above screen – users can select from internal organisations to indicate who has the responsibility for this programme.
Ability to add contact names for the funding opportunities and contact emails/description texts

Contact name provides an institutional owner for the opportunity – this person acquires special permissions when added to the record, allowing them to view all applications submitted against the opportunity in question, and allowing them to receive notifications/task messages related to the added applications
Ability to add supporting documents relating to the opportunity

The opportunity can now display documents added that allow applicants and prospective applicants to view additional supporting materials that may outline the funding call, any templates associated with it and other documents as necessary. The institution is able to configure document types and add multiple versions of the same document if updates are required.
Ability to configure successor relationships between funding opportunity types and application types

Administrators can configure the necessary successor relations between funding opportunity types and application types, ensuring that applications created based on the opportunities are enforced. For example, an internal funding call may need to create as a form of ‘expression of interest’ that in turn is required to be processed as a ‘full application’ if successful.
Internal organisations on applications/awards

Once applications/awards have been made based on internal opportunities, it is now possible to clearly differentiate the funding organisation on the funding section of the associated content.
Additional filters/reporting options
New filtering options have been added to the funding opportunity, application and award content types to identify the source of origin of funding to differentiate in reporting and other lists.
