Editor Content Types XMLEditor Content Types XML

This section contains all of the content types that represent the work you want to capture and showcase in Pure. They will reference elements created in the Master Data section, such as Persons, Organisational Units or Journals. Most imports will allow you to simply specify name and other details you might have (for example, country) for the External Organisations, External Persons, Publishers, Journals or Events in your xml files. Pure will attempt to match these to existing records and if one is not found then one will be created.

Internal Organisational Units and Persons must already exist in Pure and be matched on an identifier provided in the file (normally the same ID you used when first importing those records, called the "Source ID" in Pure).
