Why can't I see the files after changing publication template? Why can't I see the files after changing publication template?

What

You changed the template of one of your publications, but then appeared to lose access to the files - the ‘show’ button disappeared.

Why

When you change a content template in Pure, the editor creates a new piece of content in the background. However, it is not until the "preserved update content" job has been run that the files are moved and attached to it.

Usually, this job is set to run every minute by default, which means you will only appear to lose access to the files for a few minutes at most. Sometimes, however, these settings are changed and the files can appear to be missing for longer - until the job has run.

If you encounter this issue, you should check the settings of the ‘preserved update content job’ (Administrator > Jobs > Cron Job Scheduling) and ensure it is set to run every minute.
