What

When looking at the same Research output in a local instance of Pure and the connected community instance, you see different results in Research output > Metrics > Download statistics section of the editor.

Why

• The download statistics are updated when you download a file either from the Pure Portal or Pure itself (Research output > Metadata > Electronic version(s) section).
• These statistics are kept separately for the local instance and the community instance.
• This means that the statistics you see on content in the local Pure reflect the number of downloads from the local Research output editor window. And the statistics you see in the Portal come from the community Pure and contain both downloads that were done via the community Research output editor window, and the Portal.
