ImpactsImpacts

Impact is a content type used for narrative, validated statements about the perceived impact of research on areas such as society, economy, public health, and more.

 

The content type is be default disabled. Administrators of Pure will have to enable this in Administrator > Impacts > Enable Impacts

Note, that a restart of Pure is expected before the changes will take effect. 

 

Some of the key metadata elements on this content type is:

  • Title
  • Description
  • Category of Impact

Extended model

The Impact content type exist in two versions:

  1. Default model (default enabled)
  2. Extended model

The extended model has these additional fields highligted in red:

Period Period is understood as the overall period for this Impact.
Impact level

Select the overall level of impact, e.g. Benefit, Adoption, Engagement. 

Administrators of Pure can modify this list from the classification sheme /dk/atira/pure/impact/impactlevel

 
Evidence

Used for adding evidence for the Impact. This fields can be repeated so multiple entries of evidence can be added. 

Each evidence section has a period definiton. This should not be confused with the overall Period as described above. 

The evidence section has these fields available. 

Impacts content type evidence metadata

Administrators of Pure can modify the Evidence indicator from the classification sheme /dk/atira/pure/impact/evidenceindicator

 

 

Workflow

Impacts can hold a workflow with 3 steps. Enabling workflow will make the content type appear with workflow state visible in bottom of the Impact metadata editor. Default is workflow disabled and it must be enabled by Administrators of Pure in Administrator > Impacts > Workflow configuration.

Roles

The following roles are available to handle Impacts:

Organisational roles

  • Editor of Impacts
  • Reporter of Impacts

Global roles

  • Administrator of Impacts
  • Global reporter of Impacts
