In certain cases, Elsevier may agree to adhere to any custom access restrictions you as a Pure client may wish to have around your Pure instance. This could be a VPN gateway or allowing access to Pure via support/vendor user functionality.
As a general rule of thumb, we ask our clients to check at regular intervals if accesses are still needed and to renew access passwords at reasonable intervals. For support/vendor users in Pure, we advise to set a 3-month expiry as default.
