Available Updates From Online Sources Job Failed to Automatically Update the Title. Why?Available Updates From Online Sources Job Failed to Automatically Update the Title. Why?

What

When the “Available Updates From Online Sources” job is running, it has a mechanism that stops automatic updates being applied if the title of the research output differs too much between Pure and the import source (e.g. PubMed, ORCID, etc.).

Why

This is to ensure that we don't potentially ruin correct data in Pure with "incorrect" data from the other source. The current requirement (as of Pure 5.26.3) is that there is at least an 80% match on the title.

If you search for content in the "Available Updates From Online Sources" job log, you will see a message like the following for such cases:

Incidence of Stroke After Pneumonectomy and Lobectomy
INFO: (PubMed) Title match is below threshold, best match was for: Incidence of Stroke After Pneumonectomy and Lobectomy (61.8421052631579%)
Content-ID:XXXXXXX
