What

Sometimes after a weekly run of the QABO Publication Import and Cleanup, it is noticed that some Scopus publications were not added to Pure as expected. This can, sometimes, be due to the fact that content was too new and not yet in the Scopus API. In these cases, the job log for the QABO Publication Import and Cleanup will produce a warning to alert you this happened.

How

Under Administrator > Jobs > Job log, the below warning, under qaboPublicationImportJob will be produced if research output was not added because it was too new to be pulled into Pure from the QABO/ Scopus; specifically the line stating ' The following error occurred when importing Scopus data: No records found.. Typically because the publication hasn't been released in Scopus yet.'

The QABO Publication Import and Cleanup job will bring these publications in when they are available in Scopus. It saves the ids and will continuously try and bring them in until it is successful.
