What

By default it is possible to search in the Pure backend and on the portal on the primary and secondary source IDs of a Person. These IDs can in the backend be found under Person > Display > System info.

How

• If you no longer wish to be able to search on Person's source IDs, then it is possible to deindex these.
  • Note: It is not possible to only disable it for the Portal, since the search index for the portal is generated from the same model information as the Pure backend. Following the below description will make it not possible to search on the Person's source IDs both in the backend and portal.
• To deindex the Person source IDs:
  • Go to Administrator > System settings > Person > Control indexing of primary source ID and turn it OFF.
  • Go to Administrator > System settings > Person > Control indexing of the secondary source IDs and turn it OFF.
  • Save the change and start a reindex of your Persons under Administrator > System settings > Search and indexing
