If you have a service contract with Elsevier
If you have a service contract with Elsevier we handle all installations at your site (both test and production). The only thing you need to do is agree on a date and time for these installations. We would like to 2 weeks notice to schedule the installation

When you want us to do an installation for you, please create a support case here: https://clientcommunity.pure.elsevier.com/ with the following information

  1. The version you want us to install, e.g. latest or version number
  2. Which environment to be updated e.g. all, only test or only production
  3. Your wishes for date and time. Note that we would like to have a 2 week notice for planning

Our Install Team will get back to you with confirmation on the date and time or a suggestion for a new date and time if they cannot make it at the suggested time. Please note that you always need to have feedback from our system administrator before we consider an installation booked.

NOTE: Upgrades will be done within EU normal business hours (8 AM-16 PM CET).

If you do not have a service contract with Elsevier
If you do not have a service contract with Elsevier we make the distribution archive available to you on from Amazon share. Since most customers typically do not install all Pure releases we ask you to create a support case here: https://clientcommunity.pure.elsevier.com/ to notify us that you would like to have a particular release made available to you.

In the support case please state:

  1. Which version you want, e.g. Latest or version number (eg. 5.9.2)
  2. Format in which want the Pure build e.g. as a zip file (Windows) or a tar.gz file (Linux / Unix).

When the Pure build is available by our Install Team. For any further questions please comment in the support case.
