2. Country-specific features
2.1. UK: REF
2.1.1. PDF files on REF2
With this release we have changed the logic for which files we are using as the PDF file to send to the submission system. We now only use the PDF files that are uploaded directly to the REF2.
This could mean that some REF2 that previously passed validation don't any more, if they are of type G,S or U, a PDF file must be uploaded to the REF2 editor before validation will pass.
2.1.2. Option to enable/disable sending files
We have introduced an option to disable or enable sending any files to the submission system. This in changed in the administrator interface of Pure. administrator → system settings → ref2021. The setting is called 'Include files in the submission XML upload.'
To quickly find the option use the search functionality and search for 'files'
