How Can We Help?

Plans for sunsetting
We are going to sunset the classic reporting module. This is going to happen in phases over time, to ensure that all customers are able to migrate any reports from the classic reporting module to the reporting module. There will not happen any automatic migration, so any reports from the classic reporting module, have to be recreated in the reporting module manually.
Phase 1, June 2025
Current phase
With release 5.32.0 of Pure we have started the phase 1, of the sunsetting of the classic reporting module.
Disable ability to create new reports
From June 2025, it will no longer be possible to create new reports in the classic reporting module, this also includes copying existing reports, saving them, as well as sharing them. It will still be possible to edit existing ones. All scheduled reports are still running.

Phase 2, February 2026
Next Phase
The next phase of sunsetting the classic reporting module, is planned for February 2026. If you know of anything that you currently use in the classic reporting module, that you will miss once access is removed, please reach out to us at n.lock@elsevier.com to let us know.
With this phase, we are going to disable the classic reporting module fully in Pure. This means that we're going to remove the menu item called Reporting Definitions, and any existing scheduled reports will be stopped. We will not delete any classic reports in this phase, this will happen in a later release.

Performance indicators
As part of the sunsetting, performance indicators will be disabled, scheduled for deletion.
Dashboards, CV and FAAR
Dashboards, CV and the FAAR module will continue to operate after the sunsetting of the classic reporting module even after phase 2 in 2026. We will also continue to apply bug fixes for critical issues in those modules.
