How Can We Help?
Setting up online sources overviewSetting up online sources overview
Numerous online import sources are available in Pure for an easy-to-import method.
Configuring these sources with Pure easily finds research outputs published by individual faculty members or organisational units in your institution. In the table below you find the list of online import sources available in Pure and an overview of subscription and configuration options.

Web of Science requires at minimum a WoS Starter API key. This will allow you to search for and import publications from Web of Science.
Subscribing to the WoS Expanded API enabl es the import of publications containing additional metadata, such as affiliations and citations. Having an Expanded API key also enables available updates from WoS.
No registration of IP-address is needed for either of them. |

It is important to be selective to the ones containing publications (some may only contain images, for example). In general the data bases available in EBSCO are very specific when it comes to content. For subscription assistance, please contact EBSCO directly at https://www.ebsco.com. |

Creating an Espacenet account
An account can be created via Espacenet's D eveloper's Area.
Two types of accounts can be created, either of which can be used in Pure:
Paying - unlimited transfer volume Non-paying - limited to a total transfer volume of 4GB per week For the use as an import source for Pure, a Non-paying account should suffice. We tested transfer volumes and even for large research institutions, the Espacenet import to Pure should be well covered within the weekly 4GB limit.
After you have applied for the account, you will receive access credentials for the EPO Developer Portal.
In order to get the required consumer key and consumer secret key, you will need to create an app in your account. This is a simple and straight forward process and is well explained in first slides in the documentation from the O PS first steps guide. |

If you have already enabled the Export to ORCID functionality, we will pre-fill the configuration with your ORCID membership credentials and you only need to enable and save. You can of course also use different credentials, if you would like to (but there are no known benefits in Pure to doing so).
The use of Membership API credentials or Public API credentials are supported.
If you already have credentials, you can use those or follow the links provided to create new / additional credentials. |
