Check Which WoS Edition Outputs are Imported FromCheck Which WoS Edition Outputs are Imported From

When you import Research outputs from Web of Science, you can see which Edition, the content is originating from.

How

This can be identified in the imported XML

  • Open the Research output editor window
  • Go to Display > System info
  • Search in the text field (or expand it using the View button) to locate relevant XML tags.

  <EWUID> 
        <WUID coll_id="WOS"/>  
        <edition value="WOS.SCI"/>  
        <edition value="WOS.ISTP"/> 
   </EWUID> 
  • <edition value="WOS.SCI"/> is then ‘Science Citation Index Expanded’
  • <edition value="WOS.ISTP"/> is then 'Conference Proceedings Citation Index - Science'
