What
You have setup ORCID Export and data is exported to ORCID, but you are missing a specific type of Research Output.
Note: This error message appears from 5.15, but not in previous versions.
Job log
INFO: The following publication were skipped: Type URI: /dk/atira/pure/researchoutput/researchoutputtypes/nontextual/testtypeorcidmapping - Publication IDs: 19946404 INFO: To export these publication types to ORCID, please add them to the ORCID work type mapping file on the ORCID settings page.
How
The default Research Output sub-types will get exported to ORCID. But if you created your own Research Output sub-types, you need to ensure the mapping to ORCID.
Read more about ORCID types here.
The missing sub-type is a default:
- Check if the sub-type is part of the ORCID default mapping
- Confirm that it is configured in the mapping file in your Pure.
- The ORCID mapping file is found on Master Data > File handle > ORCID work type mapping file.
- If it is missing you can add it to the file by downloading it.
- Go to Administrator > Integrations > Export to ORCID.
- Remove the existing file and upload the updated one.
- Finish by saving the configuration.
The missing sub-type is custom made:
- Go to Master Data > File handle > ORCID work type mapping file.
- Download it.
- Add your sub-type to the file.
- Go to Administrator > Integrations > Export to ORCID.
- Remove the existing file and upload the updated one.
- Finish by saving the configuration.
On the next job run the content should be exported.
