Synchronisation Setting: Pre-Process Incoming DataSynchronisation Setting: Pre-Process Incoming Data

What

On the configurable synchronisation jobs, there is a setting 'Pre-process incoming data' under Job configuration > Synchronisation configurations.

Why

The configurable synchronisations keep a record of how the source data looked before and if nothing has been updated, it will not update anything in Pure as not to waste time on unchanged data. However, when the setting 'Pre-process incoming data' is disabled it will update all content in Pure regardless of if there were any actual changes. By enabling this setting the synchronisation will scan all incoming data for changes before trying to synchronise the data.
