Who is this page for?

This page is intended for clients who have recently bought Pure, or a new part of Pure, and are currently or will soon be working on an implementation project with a Pure Implementation Manager. It provides general information that is applicable to all Pures; your Implementation Manager will help you address the details specific to your individual case.

Data validation is an important process that ensures your data's accuracy, consistency, and compliance with your requirements. Conducting validation progressively throughout the implementation project allows for early error detection, improved data quality and avoidance of negative impacts on the implementation schedule.

Data validation should be carried out for all content types that you are integrating with Pure. The bare minimum will be for faculty data, which consists of Organisations, Persons and Users.

Content Types

Validation Tasks

Faculty Data Synchronisation/Import

Ensure data quality of Organisations and Persons

  • Check format of data
  • Decoupling of data
E.g. When you have activities or prizes data stored as part of a person's data, it is best to separate this information from the person's data and load it as a standalone content type in Pure, then link it to the person.
