Metrics available:

• BFI: 
  • BFI publisher level
• JUFO:
  • JUFO publisher metrics

Updating metrics:

• BFI:
  • BFI assessment module is required
  • BFI journal level can be added to journals using the job "BFI Publisher Synchronisation" (Administrator → Cron jobs → BFI Publisher Synchronisation)
  • Before running the job, a BFI certificate needs to be added (Administrator → BFI → Settings → API certificate)
• JUFO:
  • JUFO journal level can be added to journals using the job "Import Metrics From Julkaisufoorumi (JUFO)" (Administrator → Cron jobs → Import Metrics From Julkaisufoorumi (JUFO))
  • For Publishers, all Publishers available from the source are added in Pure with the corresponding metrics. If there is a 100% name match between a Publisher from the source and Pure, then only the metric is added and the Publisher is not created. Since it is the name alone that is being used for matching, then there is a possibility for Publisher duplicates after the job has run
  • (Notice, this job will also import JUFO metrics to Journals)

Available in Pure:

• BFI:
  • The BFI levels are stored on the Publisher editor.
  • The rating is shown in the short renderer of a publisher (eg. for searching for a publisher to add to a Research Output)
  • The rating is shown on the BFI tab of the Research Output template
• JUFO:
  • The JUFO levels are stored on the Publisher editor.
  • The rating is shown in the short renderer of a journal (eg. for searching for a publisher to add to a Research Output)

Pure portal:

• BFI:
  • BFI levels are not available in Pure portal
• JUFO:
  • JUFO levels are not available in Pure portal

Available in reporting:

• BFI:
  • BFI rating is available for reporting
• JUFO:
  • JUFO levels are currently not available for reporting
