How Can We Help?
Adobe AnalyticsAdobe Analytics
Adobe Analytics services are used to measure the areas that users access within Pure. This information is used to inform Elsevier about how users navigate through Pure so that we can improve their experience finding features, performing tasks, and navigating through the interface.
Though we collect data in response to a user opening and/or interacting with features on a page in Pure, we will not capture any data about the content that they see or enter into Pure.
In order to segment users, the information gathered about the user and their device includes browser type, internet service provider, URLs of referring/exit pages, operating system, locale and language preferences, identification numbers associated with the user's devices, the mobile carrier, and system configuration information.
The analytics information consists of a date and time stamp, the features and functions being used and a fully anonymized user ID (salted hash) of the individual who is using the feature or function.
Pure's implementation of Adobe Analytics respects users' "Do Not Track" browser settings, should any individual user wish for no analytics information about them to be sent.
