Prune Job Log EntriesPrune Job Log Entries

What

Pure is generating job logs on each run of the cron jobs, and this is using disk space in the database, and can potentially hurt performance in Pure.

How

Pure has a job, which can delete the oldest job logs from the database. It is called "Prune Job Log Entries", and we recommend that you set this up in Pure.

The Job prunes/deletes job log entries depending on configured threshold (older than 30 days). The job is recommended, but not mandatory.

The job will delete the logs and the information they contain, but any changes to content in Pure, made by the jobs, can still be see in the audit logs, so its only diagnostic information that is removed.
