Missing Research Output in the RSS FeedMissing Research Output in the RSS Feed

What

The RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feed is not pulling a complete list of Research output based on publication date, and not matching what is seen on that persons individual portal profile page for Research output.

Why

The RSS feed is based on addition of content to pages which is the "creation date" property of content in Pure, not the publication date.

  • If you would like to sort the RSS by the publication date you can do so with a string like this:
    ?ordering=publicationYearThenTitle&descending=true&format=rss
  • You add this at the end of your Pure Portal search for publications. Some examples:
    • https://your_server/da/persons/c.poulsen%40elsevier.com/publications/?ordering=publicationYearThenTitle&descending=true&format=rss

General information about RSS

RSS is integrated in the Pure Portal, so whenever you have a search result/content list you can fetch it in a RSS format directly, you just click on the RSS feed icon to get the RSS xml result (see screenshot).
