1.1. EID tagging
This release includes functionality that enables you to import the ERA2018 EID tagging information from Clarivate (the ERA2018 citation supplier) into the ERA module in Pure, and to capture WoS citations on ERA Research Output records.
Details on how to import ERA2018 EID tagging information and to capture WoS citations on ERA Research Output records is now available from the ERA2018 wiki.
With the introduction of ERA Journal Article indexing status, we have also updated the Low Volume Threshold calculations in the ERA Research Outputs monitoring screen to count only Indexed Journal Articles for 50IJ disciplines.
1.2. ERA Research Outputs : Available in Open Access Repository
We have updated the ERA Research Output editor to ensure the accurate derivation of whether the ERA Output is available in an Open Access Repository. As per requests from clients, this field is overwriteable to account for legacy data issues.
Guidance is available from the ERA2018 wiki.
1.3. Other improvements
We have also made the following improvements in the ERA2018 module:
- Updated the ERA Research Output editor as follows:
- "Does the research contain content related to Indigenous Australians" re-named “Does the research contain content related to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians”
Sensitivity:- Re-named field to ‘Is the output culturally sensitive (i.e. requires special handing in the ERA Peer Review process)?’
- Removed 'Type of sensitivity' field - no longer required
- Updated the the job for creating ERA Research Outputs in bulk to no longer ask for / require 'Type of sensitivity' if Sensitivity flagged
- When type = 'Research Report for external body', remove 'Issue' and 'Volume' from ERA Output editor as these can be sourced from the associated Output record (as defined in the ERA2018 Research Outputs Mapping of Metadata Fields file).
- "Does the research contain content related to Indigenous Australians" re-named “Does the research contain content related to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians”
