Content validation

You are generally encouraged to check all content in the re-validation workflow step prior to upgrade as changes to the underlying datamodel may not be reflected in the re-validation overview screen (see example)

Further, you are encouraged to check if all content can validate prior to an upgrade of Pure. This check is done by running the Check content and files job and resolving any data validation issues that are flagged by the job

1. Pure Portal

1.1. Improved detection of names in searches

When searching for short sentences, the Pure Portal try to match these against the concepts of the fingerprints stored in Pure in order to search for persons with this expertise. A side effect of this have been that if searching, e.g., for a lastname that is also part of a concept, the preference have been to do a concept search, which in return have lead to unexpected search results.

With Pure 5.7.3 we have optimised this process by trying to detect if you are in fact searching for a name of a person that can be found in your Pure system. If this is the case the search result will be those profiles in the Pure Portal where the search string is part of their names, and thus provide a more expected search result.

If no name match can be made the existing logic of trying to match for a concept will be applied.
