Research Output Model DetailsResearch Output Model Details

This page describes details on the new unified research output model introduced in 5.10.0 / 4.29.0.

1. What will happen upon upgrade to 5.10.0 / 4.29.0?

Upon upgrade to 5.10.0 / 4.29.0, ALL research output records will automatically migrate to the new Research output datamodel.

Following the upgrade, there may be additional research outputs that you would like to migrate to other Research output sub-types. This can be done using new bulk edit functionality.

2. Migration of Research output from previous Research output datamodels

Prior to 5.10, we had several different versions of the Research output datamodel in Pure. Below you will find links to the migration logic employed from each previous version of the Research output model to the new unified Research output model, based on the base or customer specific version.

  • Base BE - Migration to New Unified Research Output Model (some Belgium customers)
  • Base DE - Migration to New Unified Research Output Model (German customers)
  • Base DK - migration to New Unified Research output Model (Danish customers)
  • Base FI - migration to New Unified Research output Model (Helsinki University and Hanken School of Economics)
  • Base UC - migration to New Unified Research output Model (Danish University College)
  • Base UK - migration to New Unified Research output Model (also known as common base)

If you do not know which of the six code bases your Pure installation is based on, you can identify it from the Versions section in the Overview screen in the Administrator tab:
