The below mappings is used when content from Pure is exposed via your OAI-PMH endpoint via OAI_dc
The format is based on the Guidelines for Literature Repository Managers v.3, please follow the link for a detailed documentation, the schema definitions and example files.

Please be aware that the behaviour of this endpoint needs to be enabled and can be modified by the OAI-PMH settings of your Pure installation, available under: Administration >Web services > OAI configuration This can have an impact on what content is available over this endpoint.

You can find the publication set on your Pure server under:

Mandatory Fields

Pure Editor Field (Source) OAI Element (Target) General Note Notes on value origin Notes on transformation
Title + Subtitle title V3 Title

A series of string value localized by country and language. 

Each is transformed from Pure to OAI by language.

Title and subtitle are merged, separated by a colon.
Contributors creator V3 Creator

A series of person to publication relationships.

Each is transformed from Pure to OAI.

Only Pure contributors who are not assigned a role as editor are added as creators in OAI.
Keywords subject

V3 Subject

Only mandatory where applicable.

Both user defined keywords and Target keywords are transformed from Pure to OAI  
Abstract description

V3 Description

Only mandatory where applicable.

A series of string value localized by country and language. 

Each String is transformed from Pure to OAI by language.

 
Publisher publisher V3 Publisher   Transforms only the name of the publisher.
Publication Date date V3 Publication Date

Potentially incomplete date in Pure:

Only year is mandatory, both month and day are optional.

Transformed to string date following the ISO8601 standard.
Embargo Date date

V3 Embargo Date

Only mandatory where applicable.

 

Transformed to string date following the ISO8601 standard.

String date prefixed by: ‘info:eu-repo/date/embargoEnd/’

Type Description type V3 Publication Type

Seen in the top if the editor.

Electronic Version: DOI identifier

V3 Resource Identifier

Element Attribute named type with the value ‘doi’.
