What

When you have the Award Management module and when working with workflows on Applications there are two possible roles to assign to users:

• Administrator of Application Workflows
• Editor of Application Workflows.

Based on the assignment, these persons can only work with workflow steps whereas the regular Editor- or Administrator of Applications can also create/delete and edit the Application.

How

• Administrator of Application Workflows (global role): These users are allowed to setup rules on organisational units corresponding to the steps, i.e. what preconditions determine whether a step is entered.
• Editor of Application Workflows (organisational role): These users are allowed to setup rules on organisational units corresponding to the steps, i.e. what preconditions determine whether a step is entered but only for the organisational units they are an editor of.
