In the configurations for the 'Configurable Person Synchronisation' there are settings to sync external organisations. To help prevent the sync creates duplicate external organisations this job does a behind the scene matching based on what is available in Pure.

How

When syncing external organisations through the 'Configurable Person Synchronisation', Pure matches external organisations on id, name, type and country. If a match cannot be made on these then a new external organisation will be created.

You have the choice to turn off the match on 'type' in the configurations of the synchronisation under job configuration > synchronisation configurations. Here you would want to toggle off ‘Disable type matching on external organisations.’
