What
researchmap became available as an import source to Pure in 5.21.0, allowing researchers to import all research output associated with their profile in researchmap directly to Pure.
researchmap (http://researchmap.jp) is a national Japanese portal containing bibliographical data on research outputs.
How
Import data from researchmap
- Enable researchmap as an import source via: Administrator > Research outputs > Import sources (see here for the instruction)
- Personal Users and Editors can now import Research outputs.
Go to Editor > Research output > Import from online sources and select researchmap.
- Personal Users and Editors can now import Research outputs.
- It can also be set up to pull in updates with the Available Updates feature.
Enable it via: Administrator > Research outputs > Import and Available Updates configuration > Available updates from online sources, toggle-on researchmap - On 5.25.0, it became possible to run an automated search based on the researcher's profile ID in researchmap, and configure the integration to either list records as import candidates, or automatically save the content in Pure. A number of configuration options let you determine the rules used for matching and enrichment of content in Pure.
Exporting data from Pure to researchmap:
- In Administrator > researchmap, local Pure Administrators can generate and download a zip file that can be uploaded to researchmap if meeting some criteria - (Read details at 5.6.0 Release note)
