How Can We Help?
Support for Pure after launchSupport for Pure after launch
Who is this page for?
This page is intended for clients who have recently bought Pure, or a new part of Pure, and are currently or will soon be working on an implementation project with a Pure Implementation Manager. It provides general information that is applicable to all Pures; your Implementation Manager will help you address the details specific to your individual case.
Introduction
The implementation project has been the start of an ongoing relationship with Elsevier's Pure team, but now that you have launched Pure it will draw to an end soon. To ensure a seamless transition to the final phase in the implementation process - the Production Phase, which is the ongoing phase after the launch of Pure - this page gathers information relevant for those who will work with the administration of Pure going forward.
Pure Support
When the implementation project ends your Implementation Manager (IM) will no longer be your single point of contact regarding Pure. After Go-Live, Pure Support will become the first point of contact and your IM will therefore hand over necessary information to the Pure Support Team. The Support Team is a global team and will be available to help you by email, by phone or via the issue tracking system. Please find all the information on how to get in contact with Pure Support here: Get product support.
Release cycles and release notes
New features and bug fixes are released on a regular basis. To learn about the different types of releases and the cycle in which releases are available to you, please see: Release and quality assurance.
When a new release is available you can read about what the release includes in the current release notes, found here: Release notes.
Announcement lists
We recommend that you sign up for our announcement mailing lists: Pure announcements (general information about Pure) and Pure release announcements (information about new releases). Please read more about the announcement lists here: Pure announcement and Pure mailing lists.
Ongoing training
During the implementation project you have access to the Pure Academy, from where you can stream recorded training sessions or attend live online training classes. After Go-Live you are still very welcome to join our Pure Academy to learn more about Pure. Pure administrators can also sign up for our Pure Client Certification Program; courses are advertised using the Pure announcements mailing lists (see above). For more about the program, please see First Pure Foundations course.
User Community
Elsevier has many active and engaged customers, and to encourage exchange of ideas and experiences with Pure we support our user community:
- Pure conferences
- The Pure International Conference, which brings together customers and Pure experts, is held annually.
- Read more about the Pure International Conference.
- User groups
- Customers join together to run a number of Pure User Groups, based on country or language. This is your opportunity for knowledge sharing with other institutes in your region.
- If you want to join a specific user group, please contact your IM or Pure Support for a contact person.
