Dataset StorageDataset Storage

What

A Dataset has both metadata and files. Dataset files can be quite large. And as a default Datasets upload is set to 1024 MB per dataset.
In general the Dataset content type is for the metadata and due to the variability of customer preferences for storage, the metadata aspect of Datasets is prioritised.

If you would like to store larger files on your Datasets, then you can increase the size.

How

  • Go to Administrator > Datasets > Configuration
  • Set the size limit as required
    • Note: It must be less than 10 GB
    • The limit is on a pr. file basis so you can have several files add up to over this limit.
  • Save the configuration
