What
An alternative way to reporting could be to export content listing to Excel. This can be found on specific content types in either Master data or Editor, in the bottom of the listing.
You might want to use it to export a list of data that matches a filter you have.
The administrator can configure which fields can be exported by which roles in: Administrator > Export to Excel
When doing this export, then the column 0 might occur:
Sometimes it does not:
Why
The column 0 is not connected to the configuration, but occurs for specific users if they "Sort By" something containing category like year or type.
The column 0 indicates the sorting in the list before you export to excel.
An example of how to reproduce this:
- Go to Editor > Research Output and export to excel, your result is without the year.
- Go to Editor > Research Output > sort by year and export to excel, your result is including year.
