What
You can get Datasets into Pure by manually adding them either through "+Add content" or Administrator > Bulk import > Dataset.
You can also enable Data Monitor under Administrator > Datasets > Data Monitor to get candidates or automatically populate Pure.
If you use Data Monitor to get candidates, then you can configure in Administrator > Datasets > Data Monitor which users that has access to handle Dataset import candidates.
Before Pure 5.19.0:
- There are 3 user roles who have access to handle dataset import candidates from Data Monitor.
- Editor of Datasets (Only in 5.18.x)
- Administrator of Datasets
- Administrator
Note: There is also a Nobody, which would be like disable Data Monitor import candidates
From Pure 5.19.0:
- There are 2 user roles who have access to handle dataset import candidates from Data Monitor:
- Administrators
- Administrators and editors
- The users can choose to receive Task notifications on import candidates. It is called "Dataset candidates from Data Monitor" in User settings > Task settings.
When you have access to Data Monitor import candidates you find the overview page for handling dataset import candidates:
- By clicking on the task notification in the right side pane.
- Or go to Editor > Dataset
- If overview page is not already present, select the Matrix view icon in right top corner in the Dataset workspace:
