How Can We Help?
Web Service: 524 Endpoint Becomes PersistentWeb Service: 524 Endpoint Becomes Persistent
What
Web service delivery model changes from 5.24.
With the 5.24 Pure release the 524 version of the Web Service will become persistent.
How
Any integrations with this version of the Web Service (524) will not have to be updated as new versions of Pure are released.
No new web service API version endpoints will be made going forward. So with the release of Pure 5.25.0, no 525 ws endpoint has been made.
This means that Pure 5.24, 5.25. 5.26 will keep supporting the following web service endpoints listed here below:
- 5.21 API
- 5.22 API
- 5.23 API
- 5.24 API
- 5.22 API
- 5.23 API
- 5.24 API
Pure version 5.26
- 5.23 API
- 5.24 API
From Pure version 5.27 and forward only the persistent 524 API endpoint will be supported.
- 5.24 API
Until the release of Pure 5.27 (June 2023), we will follow the existing deprecation strategy: we will support the persistent version (this version) and three previous versions. This means that Pure 5.25 will support the persistent version of the Web Service along with Pure 5.23 and 5.22 versions. Pure 5.26 will support the persistent version along with the Pure 5.23 version. Starting with Pure 5.27, only the persistent version of the Web Service will be supported. Release notes 5.24.0
We will deprecate older web service versions one at a time until only this version (5.24) is left, which will be by Pure 5.27.
