What

It is possible to configure Pure not to automatically transfer files to the external repository.
When you have this setup configured, you'll need to set the file to transfer, when you want the file transferred.
You do this in the Research output editor window and go to Transfer publication to repository and set this to Transfer and save.

How

To enable this you need to configures it in two places.

  • Go to Administrator > Storage > File Storage
  • Click "edit" or "configure new store" and under Conditions for storage choose Research output
  • Toggle enable transfer publication to repository check to On
  • Go to Administrator > Full Text repository
  • Toggle Enable transfer publication to repository on publication editor to On
