UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Synchronised From Configurable Person Synchronisation JobUN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Synchronised From Configurable Person Synchronisation Job

What

It is possible to add SDGs on Persons through the Management Of Keywords Reflecting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Job and it is possible to add keywords through the Configurable Person Synchronisation Job including SDGs.

Before you start adding the SDG keywords, you should choose want to add them on Persons through the Management Of Keywords Reflecting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Job or the Configurable Person Synchronisation Job. If you add SDGs through both Jobs, then data will be overwritten.

Why

  • If, as recommended, "Enable synchronisation to calculate for data changes to reduce the amount of logging and speed up the synchronisation" is set to ON in the Configurable Person Synchronisation Job (read more about that here here), then the following will apply:
    • If your Configurable Person Synchronisation Job is set to synchronise Keywords, and you then add some SDGs Keywords in your source data, then the Keyword added from the SDGs job will be overwritten every time you do changes on the SDG keywords in the Person source data (and also when upgrading Pure):
  • If you remove the SDGs from the source of the Configurable Person Synchronisation Job, then both the SDGs from the Configurable Person Synchronisation Job and from the SDGs Job will be removed from the Person.
  • If you remove ALL SDGs using the SDGs Job, then all SDGs on the Person also from the Configurable Person Synchronisation Job will be removed:
  • If you already have added SDGs from the Configurable Person Synchronisation Job, but would like to use the SDGs job in stead, then do the following:
    • Remove the SDGs keywords in your source data of the Configurable Person Synchronisation Job.
    • Run the Configurable Person Synchronisation Job.
    • Go to the Management Of Keywords Reflecting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Job and check if it configured to add keywords, remove the "Last run date" and run the job:
  • If you lock the Keyword relation list in the Configurable Person Synchronisation Job, then you will not be able to add SDGs manually on Persons:

Note: That the job Management Of Keywords Reflecting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) should still be able to add SDGs even though the field has been locked.
