This page will describe how confidential content from Digital Exam is transferred into Pure.

- If the main document is being tagged as confidential, the record in Pure will be marked as confidential
- If other individual files are marked as confidential, those files will in Pure be marked as backend
- The check mark on metadata confidentiality is not used in Pure
Prior to version 5.32.2:
- If students answer yes to the answer containing confidential material AND put a "confidential" tick next to all documents, then confidentiality at the answer level in PURE is set to "Confidential" (and all documents are marked with visibility "Backend").
- If students answer yes to the question containing confidential material but only mark some of the documents as confidential, then the answer level is set to "Not Confidential," and visibility of the individual documents is stated as "Free" and "Backend", respectively, following the ticks in Digital Exam.
