How to Disable Fingerprints on Content TypesHow to Disable Fingerprints on Content Types

What

Clients can disable existing fingerprints on one of the following content types by following the steps outlined below:

  • Projects
  • Persons
  • Organisations
  • Equipment

How

  1. Go to Administrator > Cron jobs > and find the appropriate job. For Projects it is named "Project Fingerprint Aggregation".
  2. Click on the job name
  3. Click on Default configurations
  4. Here you can switch off fingerprinting and have the fingerprints already on the content deleted.
  5. Press Update - this saves the configuration.

Note: The second option must be toggled OFF as in the above screen shot, otherwise the fingerprints will be added again instantly.

After the next run of the job, the fingerprints will be removed from the content in Pure.
