Jisc Account ID and API key - Before Pure ConfigurationJisc Account ID and API key - Before Pure Configuration

What

A Jisc Account ID and API key is needed to enable the Jisc Publication Router. This service is only open to participating Jisc institutions in the UK.

How

  • The API key and ID are unique to each customer and it is provided by Jisc on application.
  • If the customer want to use the integration they must first contact Jisc and complete a legal agreement to get their account setup and allocated credentials.
    • Details available at: https://pubrouter.jisc.ac.uk/about/start-up-guide-for-institutions
  • Once part of Jisc and once the agreement to use the router is in place, a router account will be allocated with ID and API key details
  • Jisc can usually set you up with a feed into a test instance of your platform (to avoid disturbing your live system).
