On the 'stafforganisationrelations' tab of the master there are columns for "job title" and "job description"; what is the difference in the two and how is each handled?

Job title is based on values within a classification scheme. These need to defined within Pure at Master Data > Classification Schemes and searching job title (/dk/atira/pure/person/jobtitles).

Job description is a free text field which, therefore, means you can enter whatever value you want.
