What

When adding a Keyword group under Administrator > Keywords and then click Edit for the relevant group name, then there is the configuration option “Only allow selection of classification leaf nodes”

How

• Marking "Only allow selection of classification leaf nodes"
  • User will only be allowed to choose the keywords lowest in the classification hierarchy, when adding a keyword. They will not be able to choose the top level ones.
  • In the example below the User will not be able to select Engineering (all), social sciences (all, veterinary (all) etc., but they will be able to choose the ones lowest in the hierarchy, in this example they can choose Equine, Food Animals, General Veterinary, Small Animals and veterinary (miscellanous).
     
• Unmarking "Only allow selection of classification leaf nodes"
  • The User is able to choose all the classifications no matter, where they are situated in the hierarchy.
  • When looking at the screenshot above they would be able to choose Equine, Food Animals, General Veterinary, Small Animals and veterinary (miscellanous), but also Engineering (all), social sciences (all, veterinary (all) etc.
